The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued its forecast for Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Here are the main highlights:
- Cold weather with frost or ice formation in the morning and night over the highlands, southeastern slopes, the east, high plateaus, and interior plains.
- Passing clouds over the Mediterranean coast, the High Atlas and its western regions, Tensift, interior of Chaouia, the Rif, and central regions with scattered rain and isolated thunderstorms.
- Some snowflakes on the peaks of the High Atlas.
- Strong to relatively strong winds in the southern provinces with dust storms.
Temperatures:
- Lows: -7 to 0 degrees Celsius in the Atlas, its eastern slopes, the Rif, and the east.
- 6 to 11 degrees Celsius on the coasts and northern and central plains.
- 12 to 14 degrees Celsius in the southern Saharan provinces.
- 3 to 8 degrees Celsius in the rest of the kingdom.
- Daytime temperatures will be lower.
Sea conditions:
- Calm in the Mediterranean Sea.
- Calm to slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar.
- Slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coasts.
