On Sunday, December 29, 2024, the Fes City Hall hosted an important conference for the election of the new regional office of the Educational Administrators’ Union for the Fes-Meknes region. The conference was attended by several educational administrators and union officials who discussed the future of union work in the region.
In her statement during the conference, Hind Al-Alawi, the educational administrator and regional secretary of the union in the Meknes district, emphasized that this foundation marks an important step in advocating for the rights of educational administrators. Al-Alawi said, “We are now at a critical organizational stage in the life of the Educational Administrators’ Union, where today marks the establishment of the regional office for the Fes-Meknes region, which is the first regional office of the union.”
Al-Alawi called on female educational administrators to actively run for positions within the regional office, stressing the importance of this stage in completing the national and regional structure of the union. She added, “We hope that the brothers and sisters at the conference will succeed in electing a strong regional office to advocate for their demands and rights.”
On his part, the national secretary of the union highlighted the significance of this organizational step in the national and regional structuring of the union. He emphasized that this establishment represents a crucial move in completing the structure that included seven regions and regional branches of the union at the national level.
The national secretary also pointed out that the conference held yesterday represents a pivotal moment in the union’s history, as it witnessed the election of the first regional office in the Fes-Meknes region. He considered this step a reflection of the union’s commitment to expanding the representation of educational administrators on all levels and providing a strong platform to defend their rights.
