Morocco has achieved a remarkable feat in the annual ranking of the best preparatory classes for French Grande Écoles, recently published by the authoritative French magazine “L’Etudiant”. Dozens of Moroccan preparatory classes have secured advanced positions in this ranking, which is based on analyzing student results in the entrance exams for top French Grande Écoles in 2024.
In the Mathematics and Physics stream, which is considered a gateway to the most prestigious engineering schools in France, 33 Moroccan institutions were ranked among the top 151 preparatory classes. Morocco also stood out in the Physics and Engineering Sciences stream with six classes out of 127, and in the Technology and Industrial Sciences stream with nine classes out of 52.
The excellence of Moroccan preparatory classes was not limited to sciences but extended to include economic and commercial streams as well. In the General Economics and Commerce track, 17 Moroccan institutions were among the top 29 classes, more than half. As for the Technological Economics and Commerce track, 23 Moroccan institutions secured advanced positions out of 66.
This achievement reflects the quality of education in Moroccan preparatory classes and their ability to prepare students well for the challenging entrance exams of French Grande Écoles. It also confirms the distinguished position that Morocco has come to occupy in the field of higher education on the international stage.
