In celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Educational Studies and Research Team at the Regional Center for Education and Training Professions in the Fez-Meknes region is preparing to organize an important scientific symposium. This symposium aims to present the results of a recent educational research in the field of inclusive education, which was conducted as part of regionally supported projects for the 2024 season.
The research focuses on a vital topic related to identifying the training needs of inclusive education teachers at the primary level in the Fez-Meknes region. The symposium will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 4:00 PM, in the amphitheater of the Regional Center.
Members of the research team will present several interventions during the symposium, targeting a wide range of interested parties, including:
- Administrative and educational staff
- Specialists in the field of special education
- Representatives of civil society organizations working in the field of disability
- Families of persons with disabilities
It is worth noting that the Educational Studies and Research Team intends to publish the results of this research in a scientific publication, which will constitute a qualitative addition to the scientific production in the fields of inclusive education and continuous training.
This initiative comes in the context of efforts to develop the inclusive education system and improve the quality of educational services provided to students with special needs in Morocco. The results of this research are expected to contribute to shaping more effective and inclusive educational policies in the future.
