On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, regional and local authorities in the Moulay Yacoub region launched a wide-ranging campaign to liberate public property in the Ras El Ma area of Ain Chkef. This operation resulted in the demolition of 23 illegal structures in the Al-Anbiath neighborhood, 12 structures on Ras El Ma Street, and 11 structures in the urban center.
The campaign successfully cleared sidewalks and ensured smooth traffic flow in the targeted areas, receiving significant appreciation from local residents. The community viewed this intervention as a positive step toward improving quality of life and organizing public spaces.
Looking ahead, it is expected that this campaign will be followed by initiatives to pave roads and create green spaces around the Al-Anbiath cemetery, reflecting a commitment to enhancing urban development in the area.
