Campaign to Remove Unlicensed Sunshades in the Al-Masira Urban Area

On Monday, December 2, starting at 8:30 AM, a campaign was launched to remove unlicensed sunshades and clear public property of all forms of illegal occupation. The campaign involved clearing Al-Masira Street and the surrounding alleys of street vendors, carried out by local authorities and their agents, supported by public forces including 15 members of the auxiliary forces and 20 members of the national police, along with the head of the Al-Masira security district and two plainclothes security officers.

This campaign covered all major streets and alleys in the area and continued until 4:00 PM on the same day, with plans to extend the campaign in the coming days until the desired goals are achieved.

This initiative is part of local authorities’ efforts to organize public spaces and ensure compliance with laws regarding illegal occupation of public property, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving the quality of life in urban areas.
