The Noor Ouarzazate Solar Plant and Casablanca-Settat Region Governor Mohamed Mhidia won two Arab Government Excellence Awards in Cairo on Thursday.
The project received the “Best Infrastructure Development Project” award, while Mohamed Mhidia won the “Best Governor” award in the Arab region.
The awards were presented to Moroccan Ambassador to Egypt Mohamed Ait Ouali during a ceremony at the Arab League headquarters, attended by Justice Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi and Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
The Arab Government Excellence Award was launched in 2019 by the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with the Arab League, aiming to enhance administrative development and government institutional excellence.
