In a decisive step towards restoring balance to the Fes-Meknes Chamber of Handicrafts, Mr. Najy Al-Fakhari was elected as its new president on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, after a fierce competition with Abdelmalek Al-Boutayen.
This election marks the end of a period of uncertainty that the chamber had experienced, following the postponement of the elections earlier due to the failure to meet the legal quorum.
During the general assembly held today, attended by 80 out of 82 members, Al-Fakhari secured 69 votes, winning the position of president for the remainder of the current term.
