The city of Fes and its surrounding communities continue to witness the momentum of a public space reclamation campaign spearheaded by the Wali of the Fes-Meknes Region, Mr. Moâd Jamai. This initiative aims to recover illegally occupied public spaces, restore order to streets and neighborhoods, and enhance the city’s aesthetics for the benefit of its residents.
This morning, November 26, 2024, significant interventions took place on Moulay Rachid Avenue leading to Safrou Road, where local authorities intensified efforts to remove encroachments on public spaces. These actions are part of a broader strategy encompassing all districts in Fes and neighboring municipalities, reflecting the authorities’ steadfast commitment to executing the Wali’s directives with precision and resolve.
Despite facing challenges, including resistance from some violators, the authorities remain determined to enforce the law impartially to serve the greater good.
