The city of Salé, Morocco, hosted the draw ceremony for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2024 today, November 22, 2024. Representatives from the participating teams and prominent sports figures gathered to outline the roadmap for the highly anticipated tournament.
Organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the event took place in an electrifying atmosphere, underscoring Morocco’s reputation as a premier destination for major sporting events.
The ceremony was attended by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, along with international officials, athletes, and media representatives.
The draw placed the Moroccan national team in Group A alongside Zambia, Senegal, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
