The Moroccan national football team achieved a crushing victory over Lesotho with a score of 7-0 (first half 5-0), Monday evening at the Honor Stadium in Oujda, in the sixth and final round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers (Group B).
The Atlas Lions’ goals were scored by Brahim Diaz, who netted a hat-trick (in the 5th, 15th, and 42nd minutes), Sofiane Rahimi who added two goals (in the 37th minute and 45+2nd minute from a penalty kick), while Youssef En-Nesyri (68th minute) and Ismael Saibari (70th minute) completed the seven-goal rout.
With this victory, the Moroccan national team concluded its qualifying campaign at the top of its group with 18 points, achieving a perfect record with six wins, ahead of Gabon who also secured their qualification to the finals with 10 points and who won away against the Central African Republic with a score of 1-0.
