A health official in Fes has warned the city’s residents and visitors against purchasing meat products, including “Khalii,” from unlicensed stores, emphasizing that these products could pose a significant risk to public health, especially in light of the ongoing presence of products linked to the recently dismantled spoiled meat mafia.
In a statement to Fes News, the official stated, “Despite the dismantling of the network, some contaminated products are still being sold, which requires consumers to exercise extreme caution.”
The official also called on local authorities to implement urgent patrols in markets and stores to ensure the withdrawal of any suspicious or unlicensed products, thus protecting citizens from the risk of food poisoning. He stressed the need for strict measures against any store found involved in selling these spoiled products.
