International Symposium on “Digital Content Translation: Strategies and Practices” Kicks Off

On the evening of Wednesday, November 14, the Moroccan Academy hosted the International Symposium on “Digital Content Translation: Strategies and Practices,” featuring a distinguished panel of academic experts from Morocco and beyond.

This symposium comes amid rapid technological changes that have made digital translation a cornerstone for enhancing global communication and cross-cultural knowledge exchange. Discussions addressed the need to develop translation tools that keep pace with the era of artificial intelligence and advanced technology, with a focus on machine translation between languages, especially for Arabic.

The sessions examined the challenges facing digital Arabic translation, from the language’s unique grammar and syntax to innovative suggestions for improving machine translation accuracy. The symposium also highlighted pioneering practices in digital content translation, exploring ways to leverage technological advancements to better serve this field.
