Geneva – The Swiss city of Geneva is hosting on November 11 and 12, 2024, a special celebration organized by Moroccans of the World on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Green March, marked this year by the publication of a new book by author Jean-Marie Heydt titled “The Moroccan Sahara, Land of Light and Future” published by Favre Publishing House in Lausanne.
This important event brings together numerous organizations and associations representing Moroccans worldwide, including the World Alliance of Moroccan Expatriates and several other associations representing the Moroccan community in various countries around the world. The event is also distinguished by the presence of author Jean-Marie Heydt, who will present his new work about the Moroccan Sahara.
The publication of this book comes in the context of growing international recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara, highlighting the economic and social development witnessed in the Kingdom’s southern provinces, and emphasizing their position as a land of future and development.
This initiative reflects the commitment of Moroccans worldwide to defending the Kingdom’s primary national cause and promoting awareness of the positive developments taking place in the southern provinces on the international stage.
