The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) expressed deep appreciation for King Mohammed VI’s speech delivered on the 49th anniversary of the Green March, which outlined key directives aimed at enhancing the connection between Moroccans living abroad and their homeland.
The CCME affirmed its commitment to contributing to the implementation of these directives, which mark a decisive step in strengthening communication and cooperation between Morocco and its diaspora.
The council praised the King’s acknowledgment of the patriotism of Moroccans abroad and highlighted their essential role in defending national interests and contributing to the country’s development.
The council also emphasized the significance of the King’s decision to restructure institutions dedicated to Moroccan expatriates, which will improve coordination among the various entities supporting this community, aligning with their evolving needs and aspirations.
In line with enhancing engagement with Moroccans living abroad, the council expressed full support for establishing the “Mohammed Foundation for Moroccans Abroad.” This foundation will coordinate efforts and resources to strengthen the diaspora’s role in economic and cultural spheres.
The council also urged accelerated collaboration with different governmental sectors to create a conducive environment for initiatives and investments by Moroccans abroad.
The CCME reaffirmed its intention to play a central role in advancing these royal directives, which are expected to open new avenues for collaboration between Morocco and its diaspora and to strengthen national ties.
