The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued its weather forecast for Thursday, predicting:
Light and scattered rainfall will affect the regions of Tangier, Loukkos, Gharb, Western Rif, and the western Mediterranean area.
Scattered rain drops are possible along the Atlantic coasts north of Safi. Relatively cold weather with local frost is expected in the Atlas regions and the Eastern High Plateaus.
Relatively strong wind gusts will affect the northern coasts.
Minimum temperatures will range between 0 and 6 degrees Celsius in the Atlas and Eastern High Plateaus, between 14 and 22 degrees in the northern Atlantic plains and southern Saharan provinces, and between 7 and 13 degrees elsewhere.
Daytime temperatures are expected to continue rising.
Regarding sea conditions, they will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, slightly rough between Tarfaya and Dakhla, and slightly rough to rough in other maritime areas.
