A well-informed Algerian source revealed that Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s visit to Egypt was requested by Israel to clarify certain positions with the Algerian president.
According to the source, both Israel and Egypt warned Tebboune that electoral media statements would no longer be tolerated, and that he should cease criticizing Israel regarding its actions against Hamas in Palestine.
The source added that Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt are seeking to end Hamas’s rule and support establishing a more peaceful governance in Palestine. The source indicated that any Algerian interference in this matter would be considered a hostile act that could lead to Israeli retaliatory measures against Algerian interests.
The source confirmed that President Tebboune understood and accepted all Egyptian-Israeli demands, pledging not to interfere in this issue in the future.
