New Appointments in Security Forces to Enhance Effectiveness and Respond to Community Needs

In a move that reflects the General Directorate of National Security’s commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of security agencies, a series of new appointments have been announced in leadership positions within public security services across several cities, including Fes, Agadir, Imouzzer Kandar, Mehdia, Dakhla, and Demnat, on Thursday, October 24.

These appointments, approved by the Director General of National Security, Abdelatif Hammouchi, aim to integrate young and experienced talents into the security forces to improve the quality of police services provided to citizens.

The changes included the appointment of two deputies for the heads of two security districts in Fes, in addition to three police station chiefs in Agadir, Imouzzer Kandar, and Mehdia. New personnel were also introduced at the helm of decentralized police services, with heads appointed for the urban police in the Agadir Security Directorate, the regional security in Dakhla, and the police station in Demnat.

This initiative emphasizes the importance of the competencies of security officials, selected based on criteria of integrity and professionalism.
