RABAT – The General Directorate of Meteorology has forecast weather fluctuations accompanied by thunderstorms in many regions of the Kingdom for Thursday, October 24, 2024.
According to the weather bulletin, the Middle Atlas region, northern High Atlas, and their eastern slopes will be affected by local thundershowers, while the rest of the High Atlas, eastern slopes, the Rif, and southern Oriental region will experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
The Directorate also predicts passing clouds over the phosphate plateaus and Oulmes, with possible thundershowers in scattered areas, while drizzle will be limited to the Mediterranean coasts.
The bulletin indicated fog formation in several areas, particularly along the Moulouya Valley, central coasts, and northwestern Saharan provinces, with strong winds accompanied by thunder expected in the High Atlas regions, eastern slopes, and southern Oriental region.
Regarding sea conditions, they will range from relatively calm to moderate waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Strait of Gibraltar, with turbulent waters between Mehdia and Tan-Tan, and similar conditions along the rest of the Atlantic coasts.
The Directorate called on citizens to exercise caution and take necessary precautions during these weather fluctuations, emphasizing the importance of following their official bulletins for the latest updates.
