Official sources reported that the Moroccan Minister of Interior has signed a series of decisions regarding the demarcation of territorial boundaries for several communes across various regions of the kingdom. These decisions include communes in Fez, Moulay Yacoub, Salé, Nador, and Guelmim.
These decisions were published in the latest issue of the Official Gazette, where the territorial boundaries of Fez commune and its associated districts were defined. The decisions also included the demarcation of boundaries for other communes, including:
- Mechouar Fes El Jdid commune
- Oulad Tayeb commune
- Sidi Harazem commune
- Ain El Beida commune
Additionally, territorial boundaries were designated for several communes in the Moulay Yacoub province, namely:
- Ain Chkef commune
- Sebt Loudaya commune
- Ain Kansara commune
- Sebaa Rouadi commune
- Ain Bouali commune
Sources confirmed that these decisions are in accordance with the legal provisions in force in the kingdom and aim to organize and accurately define the administrative boundaries of the mentioned communes.
It’s worth noting that this step comes as part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to improve territorial administration and facilitate local planning and development processes in various regions of Morocco.
