This operation led to the arrest of individuals involved in organizing the criminal activity.
The operation comes as part of a broader campaign aimed at dismantling networks that profit from the lives of migrants by smuggling them across dangerous sea routes in perilous conditions.
Authorities also seized logistical equipment prepared for the operation, including an inflatable boat and a marine engine.
Moroccan authorities continue to intensify efforts to track down these criminal networks that exploit the economic and social vulnerabilities of individuals for illicit gain, placing the lives of many migrants at risk during dangerous sea crossings.
