Casablanca – The General Directorate of National Security is organizing a study day titled “Key Approaches to Improving the Management of Public Procurement Disputes” on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Royal Police Institute in Kenitra, in collaboration with the Court of Cassation, the Judicial Agency of the Kingdom, and the General Treasury of the Kingdom.
This study day aims to enhance institutional cooperation between the concerned parties and to frame and regulate public procurement related to the security sector, in addition to ensuring optimal management of disputes that may arise.
This initiative comes as part of the efforts of the General Directorate of National Security to improve public procurement management mechanisms and develop related practices, especially in the security sector, which is characterized by its specificities and challenges.
Experts and representatives from the organizing bodies are expected to participate in this study day, where experiences and knowledge will be exchanged on best practices in managing public procurement disputes, as well as discussing the legal and administrative challenges facing this field.
This event is considered an important opportunity to enhance transparency and integrity in public procurement management, and to improve control and monitoring mechanisms, which contributes to rationalizing public expenditures and ensuring optimal use of resources.
It is worth noting that organizing such study days reflects the keenness of Moroccan institutions to keep pace with developments in the field of good governance and to promote best practices in public affairs management, especially in relation to public procurement, which is considered a fundamental axis in the economic and development policies of the Kingdom.
