Madrid, September 29, 2024 – The Spanish capital Madrid witnessed an important event yesterday, Saturday, with the signing of a partnership agreement between the Moroccan-African Forum for International Cooperation in Meknes and the Association of Larache Expatriates in Madrid. The agreement was signed by Mr. Haj Hafidi Moulay Ahfid, President of the Forum, and Mrs. Chaoui Khadija, President of the Association.
The signing ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Dr. Khalili Mohammed, Vice President of the Forum, Mr. Abdellah Bensar, Vice President of the Association, as well as representatives from the Chamber of Traditional Industry for the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region and the Municipal Council of Larache.
This agreement, which extends for three years and is renewable, aims to enhance cooperation in various fields including culture, economy, and sports. Its most prominent clauses include:
- Organizing events for Sufi chanting, readings, and listening sessions at national, African, and international levels.
- Establishing exhibitions for investments, global trade, and entrepreneurship.
- Organizing exhibitions for traditional industries and local products.
- Holding sports and social events, as well as seminars and international artistic and cultural festivals.
- Organizing workshops to encourage investment, protect the environment, and promote road safety.
This agreement reflects the desire of both parties to strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences between Moroccan expatriates in Spain and cultural and economic institutions in Morocco, contributing to the enhancement of bilateral relations and opening new horizons for joint cooperation.
