Fraudster Impersonating Judicial and Military Officials Arrested in Nador

In a significant security development, police forces affiliated with the Regional Security in the city of Nador have successfully apprehended a person suspected of involvement in widespread fraud and deception operations. The arrest took place on the afternoon of Saturday, September 28th, based on precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance.

According to initial investigations, the suspect, who has a criminal record, had been impersonating officials from judicial and military institutions. The accused exploited these alleged identities to deceive his victims and extort money from them, claiming he could intervene to cancel administrative decisions related to urban planning, in addition to making false promises to reduce judicial sentences.

Search operations resulted in the seizure of a collection of documents and records suspected to be forged, along with electronic devices believed to have been used to facilitate his criminal activities.

The suspect has been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. The investigation aims to uncover more details about this criminal network and determine the extent of the criminal acts attributed to the accused.
