On Thursday, the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Former Prisoners launched the “Facilitating Schooling” program for the 2024-2025 academic year.
This initiative is part of the foundation’s efforts to promote a culture of children’s rights and instill values of good education while rejecting hatred, benefiting the children of those who utilize its services.
The foundation stated in a press release that this program is part of the noble strategy of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aimed at enhancing reintegration programs for inmates and those recently released, as well as their family members.
The program is conducted in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Morocco, with support from the American Fund.
The launch event was attended by the General Coordinator of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Former Prisoners, the Acting Resident Representative of the UNDP in Morocco, representatives from the U.S. Embassy and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Morocco, along with several partners from various sectors.
