Al Manzil, Sefrou Province – In a significant step to improve water supply in the region, the pumping of water from the water borehole known as “Ain Ghorab” in the Ain Kabir area of Al Manzil city, Sefrou Province, began today, Friday, September 20, 2024.
This borehole has been converted from an exploratory well to an exploitation well by the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (Water Sector). After being equipped with the necessary machinery, the process of pumping water to the reservoir adjacent to the borehole has begun.
This project is expected to significantly contribute to ensuring the continuity of potable water supply to the residents of Al Manzil city. It will also help alleviate the water scarcity problem that the city’s residents have suffered from during the summer seasons in recent years.
This step comes as part of the efforts to improve water infrastructure in the region and ensure the provision of this vital resource to all residents in a continuous and sustainable manner.
Residents of Al Manzil city are expected to notice a tangible improvement in water supply over the coming days, which will contribute to improving the quality of life and reducing pressure on the limited water resources in the region.
It is worth noting that this project is part of a broader strategy to develop and better manage water resources in Sefrou Province and neighboring areas.
