On Thursday, September 19, Moroccans in the U.S. and Canada launched a wide-reaching solidarity campaign under the slogan “Day of Solidarity.”
The campaign began on social media platforms at 12:00 PM and saw overwhelming support from members of the Moroccan community in North America.
The campaign aims to counter those who attempt to defame Morocco, its monarchy, people, and nation. It marks the first step in a series of future actions, with plans to hire specialized legal offices to file lawsuits in American and Canadian courts against entities that seek to tarnish the country’s image.
Members of the Moroccan diaspora emphasized their role as a bridge between their homeland and the countries where they reside, expressing their unwavering loyalty to the Alawite throne and their deep love for Morocco.
The organizers of the campaign expressed their gratitude to all who participated, highlighting that the hashtag “#Don’t_Touch_My_Country” will remain a powerful symbol for Moroccans worldwide.
