  • Appearance of unstable clouds in the Atlas regions

  • Continued thunderstorms
  • Strong localized rains in the desert provinces accompanied by hail and strong winds
  • Partly cloudy weather with light rain in Tangier, eastern Middle Atlas, and northern eastern region

Friday:

  • Increased intensity of weather instability
  • Strong thunderstorms in the Atlas, Southeast, East, and desert provinces
  • Slight rise in temperatures in the Northwest and northern eastern region

Lahoucine Youaabed, Communication Officer at the General Directorate of Meteorology, stated: “Starting Friday, our country will experience a southern current that will lead to the rise of humid tropical air masses, especially towards the south and center of the country. These air masses will meet cold masses coming from the north, resulting in the formation of unstable clouds accompanied by thunderstorms that may be locally strong.”
