On Tuesday evening, Taza experienced heavy rainfall that led to flooding on the railway tracks between Taza Station and Missour Station.
The flooding caused significant damage to the railway infrastructure, resulting in the suspension of train services in the area.
In response to the damage, the railway authorities were forced to halt Train No. 204 at the Jerada Station and Train No. 303 at the Taza Station.
Emergency measures were implemented to transport passengers by bus between Taza and Jerada, and vice versa, to ensure the continuation of their journeys. Additionally, trains were redirected due to the disrupted track.
Furthermore, several other train services were canceled, and ticket sales through ticket counters and the mobile app were suspended.
As of now, there has been no announcement regarding the duration of the repairs needed to restore normal train operations.
