Several regions in Morocco have experienced heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours, according to data published by the meteorological service “Al-Maa Delima”.
Taroudant city topped the list of most affected areas, recording a rainfall volume of 170 mm, which is considered a record figure compared to other regions.
Marrakech came in second place with 90 mm of precipitation, followed by Asni with 83 mm, then Essaouira with 80 mm.
Other areas also witnessed significant rainfall, with Marrakech Rehamna and Agadir Ida-Outanane prefecture recording 53.5 mm and 53 mm respectively.

Finally, Azilal city recorded the least amount of rainfall among the mentioned areas, with 22 mm over the past 24 hours.
These exceptional precipitations come in the context of a wave of unstable weather conditions experienced by the kingdom, which calls for vigilance and caution from citizens and concerned authorities to avoid any potential risks resulting from these climatic conditions.
This unusual weather pattern underscores the importance of staying informed about local weather forecasts and following any safety guidelines issued by local authorities. The significant rainfall amounts, particularly in areas like Taroudant and Marrakech, may lead to concerns about flooding and other weather-related hazards in affected regions.
