Amina Souidi, a Moroccan social activist based in Brussels, took part in the “Back to School with a Smile” forum held in Abidjan from September 5 to 7, 2024.
This event aimed to strengthen cooperation between the Global North and South in the fields of education, children, and youth.
The forum, titled “Africa Facing the Challenges of Education and Training in the Digital Age,” gathered international experts and key figures in education from various countries.
Amina Souidi’s participation stood out as she shared her rich experience from Europe with African countries, discussing the role of women and youth in driving social and economic change.
Souidi also highlighted the importance of investing in education and training, emphasizing that the challenges facing education in Africa can be overcome through the development of innovative curricula and by providing more training opportunities for young people, especially given the digital transformations taking place globally.
