Moroccan athlete Mouncef Bouja qualified for the final of the 400m (T12) event on Wednesday, during the ongoing Paralympic Games in Paris.

The Moroccan champion finished the first qualifying heat in first place with a time of 48.98 seconds, ahead of Thai athlete Kissanapong Tisuwan (2nd/50.68 seconds) and Zambian athlete Lassam Katongo (3rd/58.77 seconds). The other Moroccan competitor, Abdeslam Hili (3rd heat), was eliminated after a false start.
