Moroccan athlete Saida Amoudi won the bronze medal in the shot put event for the F34 category on Tuesday, as part of the ongoing Paralympic Athletics competitions in Paris.

Amoudi secured third place with a throw of 7.80 meters, achieving her best result of the year. The gold medal went to China’s Zhu Juan, the world record holder in this event (9.25 meters), who recorded a throw of 9.14 meters, ahead of Poland’s Lucyna Koronowicz, who achieved 8.33 meters.

Morocco’s Sixth Medal

This bronze medal marks Morocco’s sixth medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. Previously, athlete Ayman Haddawi won a bronze medal in the 100-meter race for the T47 category, while Ayoub Adouish secured a bronze in the under 63 kg weight category for the K44 class. Additionally, Rja Aqrash earned a bronze medal in the over 65 kg weight category in para-taekwondo.
