Three people, including two members of the civil protection service, tragically lost their lives this morning, Monday, in a suffocation incident inside a water reservoir in the Douar Al-Zawiya of the Aklou municipality.According to information received by “Set Info,” a person attempted to empty the household reservoir of mud debris but unfortunately suffered from suffocation. A relative then descended into the reservoir to rescue him but also fell victim to suffocation.The same source indicated that civil protection personnel intervened to rescue the two individuals, but two of their own members also suffered from suffocation. All four individuals were extracted and transported to the hospital for first aid.Once the cases arrived at the hospital, it was confirmed that three people had died, including two members of the civil protection service, while the fourth individual remains under treatment.
