According to her statement, her son tried to travel to Europe through Algeria after agreeing with some individuals who promised to help him migrate in exchange for a large sum of money. However, things did not go as expected. He was asked to pay additional amounts, which led to escalating tensions between him and these individuals. Shortly after traveling, contact with her son was lost, and she no longer knew his fate, causing her to live in a state of extreme anxiety and fear.
Badia Belatik spoke bitterly about her desperate attempts to search for her son, whether through contacting the concerned individuals or through the authorities, but to no avail. In her statement, she also appealed to officials and relevant authorities to intervene urgently and help her find out her son’s fate and bring him back to her.
