Police officers in Casablanca, acting on precise information provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, arrested a woman on the evening of Wednesday, August 14th, suspected of involvement in drug possession and trafficking of psychotropic substances.
The suspect was apprehended at the Casablanca railway station upon her arrival on a train from one of the northern cities of the kingdom.
During the search, the police found 1,308 narcotic pills of the “Rivotril” type in her possession, a substance commonly used as a psychotropic drug.
The suspect has been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. The investigation aims to identify any further connections to this criminal activity and uncover all related criminal acts attributed to the suspect.
