Outat El Haj Community: Today, an absolute majority vote was held, rejecting the partnership agreement for creating the Fez-Meknes territorial group for distribution. Days before the session, we mobilized civil society and the population, and opened discussions with other council members belonging to different parties (Independence, Liberals, Authenticity…), warning about the disadvantages of privatization and the historical responsibility placed on the representatives of the population. Everyone was convinced by our position except for two members… Accordingly, the Outat El Haj community voted to reject the agreement. Mobilization continues in other local communities surrounding Outat El Haj where a group of our comrades in the Democratic Left Federation are present, which has scheduled extraordinary sessions during the remaining days of this week. A statement on the subject will be issued after the sessions of the remaining councils are held.
