King Mohammed VI has received numerous congratulatory telegrams from rulers and leaders around the world on the occasion of Throne Day, which this year marks the 25th anniversary of his accession to the throne.
In a related context, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory cable to King Mohammed VI, expressing his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the King for good health and success, and to the Moroccan people for happiness and prosperity.
Putin praised the traditional friendly relations between Morocco and Russia, expressing his conviction that “the further development of constructive bilateral cooperation meets the interests of our peoples.”
King Mohammed VI also received a congratulatory cable from King Charles III of the United Kingdom, who expressed his best wishes and warmest congratulations on the occasion of this milestone.
King Charles referred to the deep historical ties between the two kingdoms, which span more than eight centuries, stressing that “our bilateral relations have always been strengthened and developed.”
The British monarch highlighted “the stability and prosperity enjoyed by the Kingdom of Morocco under the leadership of King Mohammed VI,” and prayed to God Almighty to grant the King success to continue achieving further progress for the benefit of the Kingdom of Morocco.
