Raja Sporting Club announced on Thursday the appointment of Bosnian coach Rossmir Svejko to lead the team, replacing German coach Josef Zinnbauer.
This change in the technical staff came after a distinguished sports season for the team, as Zenbauer led the team to win the professional championship and the Throne Cup, without receiving any defeat during the season.
Coach Svejko has extensive experience in the world of football, having previously played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team and worked as an analyst for his country’s national team, and Svejko has a varied coaching career that included local clubs in Bosnia, in addition to his experiences in Saudi Arabia, China and Kuwait.
In another context, Raja Sporting Club has recently undergone significant administrative upheaval. Club president Mohamed Boudreika was arrested at Hamburg Airport in Germany, based on an international search warrant against him, and as a result, the club’s board of directors decided to appoint his deputy Adel Hala as interim president.
This appointment and administrative change comes at a crucial time for the team, as Raja fans hope that coach Sveiko’s coaching experience will contribute to enhancing the team’s performance and achieving the desired successes in the upcoming season.
