Late last week, the Constitutional Court issued a decision rejecting the appeal filed by Yousra El-Meski, for the Democratic Forces Front, and Offred Assama, for the Federation of the Left, against the results of the April 23, 2024 partial parliamentary elections in the Fez South constituency.
The Constitutional Court ruled to reject the request to cancel the seat of Khaled El Ajli of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) as a member of the House of Representatives.
The Constitutional Court ordered that a copy of the ruling be communicated to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the administrative body responsible for receiving nominations in the electoral district concerned, in addition to other interested parties, as well as publishing the decision in the Official Gazette.
