The city of Martil hosted, on Tuesday, the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of a new holiday center for the benefit of the National Security family, as part of the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the glorious Throne Day, through a unique partnership between the General Directorate of National Security, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Action for National Security, and the real estate company “Anasi Group”, the “Anasi-Jamie Group”.
This initiative reflects the General Directorate of National Security’s keenness, under the directives of Mohammed VI, to enhance social services for the families of security personnel, in line with the royal interest in improving their living conditions and providing them with comfort and recreation.
Spread over an area of 7,189 square meters, the new center includes 7 residential buildings consisting of 54 apartments with various areas ranging from 65 to 109 square meters, fully equipped to receive beneficiaries, and provides a range of service and commercial facilities, including green spaces, an open swimming pool, and underground parking lots.
The Martil Summer Center targets the families of male and female police employees, active and retired, and their beneficiaries, who are members of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of the National Security, and it is estimated that 756 families will benefit from the center’s services during the summer season, spread over different periods from June to September.
The Martil Summer Center project is the embodiment of the commitment of the General Directorate of National Security and the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Action of the National Security to enhance social services with a recreational dimension for members of the police family.
This project contributes to providing equipped recreational facilities in various tourist areas in the Kingdom, strengthening partnerships with tourism actors, and providing an integrated package of recreational services for the benefit of security personnel’s families.
The summer center in Martil is a qualitative addition to the social services provided to the families of security personnel, reflecting the keenness of the National Security High Command to improve their living conditions and provide them with means of comfort and recreation, in recognition of their contributions and sacrifices for the maintenance of security and public order.
