Fez – National Security forces successfully apprehended a suspect following reports from citizens about his dangerous behavior in the Al-Addarisa neighborhood of Fez on Sunday evening.
Security sources reported that a team of motorcycle police officers responded swiftly to distress calls from local residents. The suspect was observed in a state of intense agitation, posing a threat to pedestrians and citizens in the area.
The sources added that the detainee, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was covered in blood, particularly on his face, raising concerns among security authorities. However, it is worth noting that he was not carrying any bladed weapons at the time of his arrest.
Immediately following the suspect’s detention, an investigation was launched by the relevant security services under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation aims to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the source of the blood on the suspect’s face and the nature of the threat he posed to citizens.
Local authorities praised the vigilance of citizens and their quick response in reporting the incident, which contributed to the rapid intervention of security forces and prevented any potential escalation of the situation.
