Raja Al-Beyda made history by winning the Moroccan Throne Cup for the 2022-2023 season for the ninth time in its history, after defeating the Royal Army 2-1 in the final match held on Monday at the Grand Stadium in Agadir.
The Green Eagles opened the scoring in the fourth minute through Yousri Bouzouk, before Amine Zahzouh equalized in the 28th minute. In the 78th minute, Mohamed Boulksout scored the winning goal for Raja, giving his team its ninth title in its history.
With this achievement, Raja Al-Beyda adds to its track record in the Throne Cup, having previously won the title in 1974, 1977, 1982, 1996, 2002, 2005, 2012, and 2017.
This victory is a valuable addition to the record of Raja Al-Beyda’s achievements, confirming its status as one of the most prominent clubs in Moroccan football.
