Moroccan National Security Directorate Organizes Training Course on Security Communication Techniques in Collaboration with Spanish Police”
The Moroccan General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), in coordination with the Spanish National Police, has organized a specialized training course on the latest security communication techniques. This course targeted officials responsible for security communication at both regional and central levels.
This initiative aims to enhance the skills and competencies of those in charge of security communication in Morocco, equipping them with the most up-to-date methods and techniques used in this vital field. It also seeks to exchange experiences and best practices between the Moroccan and Spanish sides in the area of security communication.
The training course covered several key topics, including:

- Managing media crises
- Utilizing social media in security communication
- Techniques for drafting security press releases
- Dealing with media in sensitive security issues
A senior official from the DGSN stated that this course is part of ongoing efforts to develop the capabilities of national security personnel and modernize their working methods, in line with technological developments and contemporary security challenges.
For his part, a representative of the Spanish National Police praised the level of cooperation between the two security agencies, emphasizing the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge in the field of security communication to face common challenges.
At the conclusion of the course, certificates were distributed to the participants, with an emphasis on the need to apply the acquired skills in their field of work to improve the performance of the security communication system in Morocco.
