Yesterday, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the administrative office of the National Professional Football League held a meeting to discuss several important matters related to the past football season and the upcoming season, in the presence of all the members of the office.
The meeting discussed the issue of supporting the category of hope in the professional clubs participating in the amateur divisions, where it was agreed to submit a petition to the Royal Moroccan Football University and the National Amateur Football League, in order for this category to receive an incentive grant.
The meeting set August 15, 2024 as the deadline for holding the annual general assemblies of clubs, with each club delaying the holding of the general assembly being fined 100,000 dirhams for each month of delay.
The administrative office approved the project of organizing the “Cup of Excellence” during the 2024/2025 sports season, and the draft calendar of the professional championship for the new season was studied.
During the meeting, the financial incentives for the 2023/2024 season were approved, and some proposed amendments were studied in the draft contract book for the 2024/2025 season.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the “CLOP” system established by the Confederation of African Football to grant licenses to clubs participating in African competitions for the 2024/2025 season, and a proposal was submitted to the Royal Moroccan Football Association to increase the value of the financial incentives allocated to the final ranking of the first and second divisions of the professional championship.
During the meeting, the date of the summer transfer period, which runs from July 1 to September 19, 2024, and the winter transfer period, which runs from January 1 to January 31, 2025, was approved.
The members of the administrative office of the National Professional Football League declared their unconditional solidarity with and support for Abdessalam Belkchour, the president of the league, following the malicious campaign circulating on social media.
