Operation Marhaba 2024: First ship arrives at Al Hoceima port with 220 Moroccans living abroad

Al Hoceima, 15 June 2024: The first vessel of the “Marhaba 2024” operation arrived on Saturday evening at the port of Al Hoceima dedicated to welcoming Moroccans during the summer holiday season.

The ship, coming from the Spanish port of Motril, had on board about 220 Moroccans living abroad, in addition to 64 vehicles.

The voyage, provided by a vessel with a capacity of 1,500 passengers and 300 vehicles, comes on the eve of Eid al-Adha, when many Moroccans are keen to spend this religious occasion with their families in the Kingdom.

“Marhaba 2024” aims to facilitate the return of Moroccans to their home country for their summer holidays by providing various services and facilities at ports and border crossings.
