Days before the advent of Eid al-Adha, which is characterized by special dietary habits that are sometimes characterized by excessive consumption of meat and sweets, which is dangerous for the digestive system and exposes the heart and arteries to some risks and complications, with the sudden change in the dates and methods of eating food, many suffer from health symptoms related to the digestive system, including pain, diarrhea and indigestion.
It must be noted that cardiovascular patients should be careful about how they cook and eat foods for Eid al-Adha, with the need to consume adequate amounts of fluids and pure water and not neglect eating seasonal vegetables and fruits.
Among the most important tips during this period:
Minimize the intake of mental foods
Avoid carbonated drinks
Increase the intake of seasonal fruits and vegetables
Avoid salted foods, especially for hypertensive patients
Avoid excessive consumption of stimulants such as tea and coffee
Finally, it must be noted that meat of all kinds has many benefits, as it is a source of iron, proteins, calcium, mineral salts and other substances useful to the human body, but eating it excessively and not respecting food safety conditions regarding its cooking and storage inevitably involves immediate and long-term health damage when the necessary preventive measures must be taken, taking into account exercise and water supply to revive this great ritual without health issues.
