Following a warning bulletin issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the Ministry of Equipment and Water urged all road and highway users to be extra cautious and careful due to the expected weather conditions.
Several regions in the Kingdom are expected to be exposed to strong winds and low visibility on Friday and Saturday.
In a press release, the ministry explained that this warning comes against the backdrop of the General Directorate of Meteorology’s forecast of wind activity in different regions of the country, including Ouarzazate, Zagora, Tata, Tinghir, Midelt, Taourirt, Karsif, Boulman, Fakik, Berkane, Jarada and Oujda-Angad, starting from Friday, June 14, 2024, until Saturday, June 15, 2024.
In the same context, the ministry called on all road users to take the necessary measures to deal with these severe weather conditions, due to reduced or no visibility in some of the prevailing weather conditions.
