Aziz Akhannouch, head of the Moroccan government, headed on Tuesday to Amman, Jordan, where a high-level international conference on the emergency humanitarian response in Gaza is being organized.
His trip comes to represent King Mohammed VI at this important event, which aims to strengthen the international community’s response to the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, under the slogan “Call to Action: Urgent Humanitarian Assistance for Gaza”.
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, heads of state and heads of government from more than 75 countries, as well as representatives of humanitarian organizations and international financial institutions are expected to attend.
