Ait Melloul, Morocco – The judicial police officers of the Ait Melloul Regional Security Office arrested a 51-year-old woman on suspicion of impersonating and practising a profession regulated by law in conditions that could compromise the health safety of citizens, according to a complaint filed by a professional body of doctors, accusing her of impersonating a dentist, setting up a medical clinic at her home and using it to perform dental and orthodontic procedures without having the qualifications.

According to a security source, the research and investigations carried out in the framework of this case resulted in the arrest of the concerned person in flagrante delicto receiving clients at her home, and the search operation carried out inside it enabled the seizure of a set of medical and paramedical equipment suspected of being used in the practice of this unauthorised activity.
The suspect was taken into custody pending the judicial investigation, which is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to uncover all the circumstances, circumstances and backgrounds of this case, as well as to identify all the criminal acts attributed to the concerned person.
